As the marketing strategist, I played a key role in strategizing, planning and implementing multi-channel marketing deliverables for more than 15 brands. I played an integral role in helping to create innovative ideas that tie web, mobile, email, social and traditional advertising together to provide solutions based on consumer insight and data.

 

Successes:

  • Launched more than 15 brands on a new website and to market

  • Managed marketing efforts for more than six new product releases

  • Increased online and offline marker sales by 142% in one-quarter

 

New brands/product campaigns

  • Developed strategies to ensure the success of all phases of new brand and product launches including conception, definition, launch and post-launch evaluation

  • Communicated all project needs and requirements across the organization

  • Determined demand for new and existing products by analyzing competitor activity data and customer demographics, buying habits and preferences

Emails & Drip Campaign

  • Wrote and designed email templates for scheduled emails and drip campaigns

  • Managed all lists and segments for campaign targeting and evaluated all prospects

  • Researched and established relationships with industry influencers to develop new outreach opportunities and source website content for numerous brands

 

Campaign Examples

III - #HowDoYouCopic? Video Contest 

Our marketing team started thinking about the word “Copic” as a verb and decided to pose a video contest to our users asking them to create a video showing how they use Copic products. The goal of this campaign was to incept “Copic” as a verb with our existing audience and gain further understanding of how our customers were using our products.

 

Methods for success:

  • Created an example video to show users content we were looking for

  • Added carousel images throughout website

  • Broadcasted contest related content on all social media– created a YouTube channel for contest submissions

  • Highlighted the contest in bi-monthly newsletter

  • Blogged monthly contest wrap up, “Tips for Success” video, etc. 

 

III - WIDE Marker Product Push

To increase sales and awareness of our WIDE marker, III’s marketing team decided to conduct a quarterly contest showcasing this product throughout the entire year.

 

Methods for success:

  • Distributed point of purchase posters highlighting the product at retailers and dealers

  • Ran 25% off sale all year – Promoted the deal using website banners and images, social media and through our retailer and distributor channels

  • Generated blog content to highlight the capabilities of the product–shared via social media and bi-monthly newsletter

  • Showcased user generated art created with product on III's social media profiles 

 

III - BRAND & PRODUCT LAUNCHES 

In coordination with the management team and website designer it was my responsibility to assess which assets were needed, define how to showcase information about the brand, generate content and ensure the all assets were up-to-date on current user experience and SEO standards.

 

Methods for success: 

  • Included release announcement in company's newsletters

  • Updated company's landing page with new brand information

  • Updated aspects of the website showcasing the newly released product through website carousel images, banners and additional navigation

  • Wrote blog content to educate and introduce customers to methods of using the products

  • Executed a strategic social media push of promotional content

 

IDX, LLC - BRAND LAUNCH

During my time at IDX, LLC the company developed a new SaaS product that required a website and marketing overhaul. To achieve success in launching this new product line the marketing department executed the following tasks:

 

Methods for success: 

  • Redesigned the website

  • Produced new promotional materials

  • Created a promotional video

  • Announced release across social media
